For Individuals & On-behalf
. Personal Counselling for adults, youth or adolescents.
. Online Alcohol and Drug Treatment Program with an intensive harm reduction approach, we help clients with managing a healthier lifestyle with substance use.
. Assessment and screening for substance abuse and behavioural dependence disorders.
· Assisted Detox with help from our detox nurse, we formulate a medical and/or herbal based treatment plan for the detox process of 5 days. Both residential and non-residential options available.
. Cultural Assessment and Written reports for persons involved in legal or employment proceedings.
. EMDR is World Health Organisation endorsed gold standard therapy. Works with multiple mental and physical illnesses, including: PTSD, C-PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, phobias, chronic pain, attachment injuries. 10 sessions recommended for less complex issues.
. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is a simple, noninvasive, painless treatment with minimal side effects. It uses the power of oxygen to enhance the healing process and reduce inflammation. Before-and-after SPECT scans of patients who have undergone HBOT show remarkable improvements in blood flow. This can be helpful for someone once they have detoxed from substances as an assistance to recovery. Apt Counselling provides access to the HYPERBARIC CHAMBER to active clients. Any relevant costs will be discussed during treatment.

· Temping Services for organisations that require DAPAANZ registered practitioners. Contract rates apply.
· Group presentations and facilitation to corporate or tertiary organisations. Topics covered Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Substance Abuse/Dependence.

Taking an intensive harm reduction approach, we help clients with managing a healthier lifestyle with alcohol / drug use, guided by Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles. Certificate of Completion offered.
Non-residential & Residential Options
With help from our detox nurse, we assess risk and needs and formulate a medical and/or herbal based treatment plan for the detox process of 5 days with twice daily check-ins from our nurse.

My master's degree focussed on recovery from anxiety and depression for young people aged 13-25 years. I have worked in a clinic for four years supporting people with addiction. Also trained in EDMR therapy. Further, I have previously worked as teacher and as a counsellor in schools.
I enjoy helping people improve their own lives and have a special interest in ADHD and Autism!
In my spare time I hike, dance and enjoy yoga. As a marine medic, I am very passionate about whales and dolphins.

Registered Nurse, PG Cert Health Science (Dual Diagnosis) DAPAANZ
I began working in Mental health and addictions in 2004 as Nurse Manager in a residential home for male clients with schizophrenia. In 2010 I studied at Massey University, gaining a post-graduate certificate in Dual Diagnosis. In 2013 I began working at an outpatient centre helping clients with addiction and how it impacts all areas of their lives. Working as a detox nurse led me to do a paper on pharmacotherapy at the National addictions centre, as medication is a big part of my role.
I enjoy learning about the brain and helping clients understand how addiction is a brain disease and how we can change this.

I'm Srimanth Kollabathula, but you can call me Sri, like a tree or free. I’m in my second year of Counselling at Bethlehem Tertiary Institute. I want to share that I will be available at APT counselling through 2025. I've dedicated my professional life to working in mental health in New Zealand for over 8 years, and I genuinely believe in the importance of support and understanding in this field. I'm here to help and to listen.
I am interested in epigenetics as well as the functioning of the human brain.
Trained and experienced in supporting those with depression and anxiety. As a student counsellor, my services are currently free.

WRITTEN REPORTS
- AOD Assessment: $300 ($150/hr, 1 client session + 1 hour of writing report)
- Cultural Assessment: TBA* ($150/hr, quotes provided for legal aid)

- Available for half/full day with two presenters
